Job Description - Technical Service Representative
Ability and experience to lead and overhaul crew / maintenance
team in the shop or the field.
Rep is typically placed in a company vehicle outfitted with all
the special tooling required to complete overhauls and field
maintenance, including portable compressor, hoist crane, and
acetylene/oxygen torch. All service mechanics are responsible for
supplying their own standard hand tools.
Expectations include ability to completely overhaul engines and
compressors (all types), including detailed trouble shooting
associated with all systems (lubrication, water, ignition,
combustion, and controls).
Rep will be experienced in pre and post commissioning
requirements, including, but not limited to, crankshaft web
deflections, alignment between driver and driven equipment, and
general start-up checks.
As our business revolves around the international market place,
the entire service and mechanical staff are required to carry
passports for international travel and work. However, most work
occurs within continental USA.
Rep will be responsible for maintaining good customer relations
while working with various end-users, while using communication
skills to update customer on job progress. Integrity and honesty
will always be in place.
Attend and participate in special product training, such as
technical round-table discussions as well as meet all internal
training certifications required for health, safety, and
environmental procedures (for details, refer to EnDyn HSE Manual).
Responsible for weekly (as related to project/job) Service Reports
(daily activities while on field work), Installation Data Sheets
(clearances, dimensions, measurements for equipment), and Travel &
Expense reports.
Participate in parts on-call rotation. Current rotation is 1
week every 6-8 weeks or approximately 8-9 weeks/year.
Reps will be outfitted with sales materials, brochures, technical
information, product sheets, and sample parts to assist with
customer sales.
